Connectivity & Wi-Fi

Money & Currency

Leticia has several ATMs (Bancolombia, BBVA). However, once you leave the city, cash (COP) is king. We recommend carrying enough for small crafts and tips.

Credit cards accepted in our reserve.

Airport Entry Tax

Upon arrival at Leticia Airport (LET), all tourists must pay a tourism tax (approx. $12-14 USD / $50,000 COP). Keep the receipt; you might need it when you leave.

Payable in cash at the airport.

The Triple Frontier

You can walk or take a boat to Tabatinga (Brazil) or Santa Rosa (Peru). If it's a day trip, you usually don't need to stamp your passport, but always carry it with you.

Three countries in one afternoon.
